Responsibilities:
- Gather customer requirements and translate these requirements to solutions
- Obtain details of the customer’s current environment and the Present Mode of Operation
- Deliver High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documents
- Develop Migration Strategy, Migration Design, Method of Procedures documents for migration projects involved
- Develop and apply testing procedures and test documents
- Perform solution, migration and software release validation, device feature validation and interoperability tests
- Perform network audits and analyses using available tools and methodologies
- Develop audit reports as project deliverables, identifying strengths and vulnerabilities in customer network implementation and offering recommendations
- Define and/or help develop Professional Services scope such as Network Design Service, Network Audit Service, Network Migration/Swap Service
- Travel on-site for customer meetings
- Support pre-sales activities with relevant expertise as required by the account team.
Requirements:
- BSc in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering or equivalent
- IP Certification and Multi-vendor IOT
- CISCO, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP,CCDP and CCIE certifications
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese
- At least 2 years’ experience in designing or/and implementing IP/MPLS networks
- Good knowledge and strong background in IP technologies, Data Communication, LAN, WAN, MPLS and VPN services, QoS, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP
- Multivendor skills like Juniper, Cisco Huawei
- Good business understanding in vendor or/and operator/service provider environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, customer orientation
- Excellent team player with initiative, ability to meet project timelines and work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong ability to influence to get the right outcomes, being proactive and result-oriented
